Support Lobby Day and Licensure

NYANP’s Annual Lobby Day is more than a trip to Albany.  NYANP’s Lobby Day (scheduled for May 4th, 2010) is an important opportunity to share our story with legislators and show the strength of the support that we have built for licensure of naturopathic physicians.  More than ever, NYANP must make ourselves heard over the noisy budget debates and political squabbling as we fight to earn licensure in New York.

Your generous gift will help us pay the costs associated with Lobby Day and support our year-round advocacy efforts and outreach to elected officials and state agencies.  We know this year has been a difficult one for many.  That is why NYANP is continuing to reach out to more people in related professions.  We are also asking you to forward this letter to everyone on your mailing list – sharing your own words about why licensure is such an important issue to you. We each have our own reasons for becoming members of NYANP – but we know that the continued integrity of the profession and the health and safety of our patients is the reason why so many of you have supported us in the past.  We are asking you to renew that support now as we prepare for 2010 NYANP Lobby Day.
