	Support Lobby Day and Licensure NYANP’s Annual Lobby Day is more than a trip to Albany. NYANP’s Lobby Day (TBA May 2011) is an important opportunity to share our story with legislators and show the strength of the support that we have built for licensure of naturopathic physicians. More than ever, NYANP must make ourselves heard over the noisy budget debates and political squabbling as we fight to earn licensure in New York. View New York State Bill A01370.

	Current Efforts Currently 59 out of 150 assembly members sponsor the bill to license naturopathic doctors in NY. The bill was reported out of the senate committee for the second time this year and primed to pass the Senate upon approval in the Assembly. We have all of you ready and willing to express support, as well as support letters from numerous organizations and medical practitioners.


	Intent of Legislation NYANP Promotes Access to Natural Medicine The New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians is committed to ensuring that citizens in New York and all 50 states have the freedom to access natural health care and the broad array of alternative therapies available. Our goal is to build awareness of the efficacy of natural medicine and the positive results our patients experience
