Dr. Bongiorno is a major contributor to the 3rd edition of the Textbook of Natural Medicine (Elsevier/Churchill Livingstone), he completed the Complementary and Alternative Medicine chapter in the text The Biology of Depression (Wiley) and has recently authored the textbook Healing Depression: Naturopathic and Integrative Therapies (CCNM Press). This textbook is the most complete and researched resource on the subject to date.

Dr. Bongiorno lectures at Mount Sinai School of Medicine about natural medicine and acupuncture in their Arts and Sciences of Medicine program, as adjunct faculty at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for their Summer Semester at the Institute for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, as well as gives lectures for continuing education at New York University, and is on faculty at he Natural Gourmet Institute School.

Dr. Bongiorno has been interviewed on national television (the Hallmark Channel) and local television (News 12 Long Island), radio (on the air with Dr. Fratellone, 1600AM), and national media (MSN.com, Energy Times). Dr. Bongiorno is current Vice-President of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians, is a member of the American Association for Naturopathic Physicians, and Physicians for Social Responsibility.

Emily Chan, ND graduated Summa Cum Laude from the California State University Hayward, with a BS in biology, clinical laboratory sciences, and a minor in music. She later pursued her doctorate in Naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University, interning at the Functional Medicine Research Center in Gig Harbor, WA and Emergency Department at Evergreen Hospital.

Dr. Chan’s love of medicine and interest in world wide humanitarian efforts led her to Beijing China, where she worked with children with irreparable birth defects.  Through her efforts to further education in others, her dedication to integrative medicine, Dr. Chan currently holds numerous speaking engagements throughout Massachusetts and Washington State.

Dr. Chan is a former member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra and Seattle Philharmonic. She currently performs with the Waltham Symphony. Dr. Chan appears regularly on a local access television program titled “A Healer in Every Home”.

Her writings have been published, including professional medical publications such as NDNR. She is an active member of both The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and The Massachusetts Society Of NaturopathicDoctors (MSND). 

Dr. Chan currently practices at the Lydian Center for Innovative Medicine in Cambridge, MA.




Paul Epstein, ND is a Naturopathic Physician and an international teacher and speaker with over twenty five years experience in Mind-Body Integrative Medicine and its clinical application.

Dr. Epstein is a 1984 graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon where during his residency (1984-1985) he developed and implemented the first naturopathic courses and teaching clinics in holistic medicine and stress and life-style counseling. During 1998-2001, he moved to Israel to participate in Co-founding and Co-directing the Israel Center for Mind-Body Medicine.

He is currently the guiding teacher of the Insight Meditation Community of Fairfield County, and is a core faculty member for The Graduate Institute Masters Degree Programs in Experiential Health and Healing and Holistic Thinking, and faculty member at the Naturopathic College at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

He maintains a private practice in Westport, CT and mentors healthcare professionals to integrate mind-body therapies in their life and clinical work.  He specializes in treating people with chronic and stress related disorders and transforming illness into a journey of self healing and opportunity for spiritual awakening.

Geo Espinosa, N.D., L.Ac, CNS, RH (AHG) is the Director of the Integrative Urology Center at New York University Langone Medical Center. Before joining NYU, Dr. Espinosa was a clinician, researcher and director of clinical trials at the Center for Holistic Urology at Columbia University Medical Center. He is a licensed naturopathic doctor, licensed acupuncturist, a Certified Nutrition Specialist and a Registered Herbalist under the American Herbalist Guild. Dr. Espinosa did his residency/fellowship in Urology at Columbia University Medical Center, Department of Urology under Dr. Aaron Katz. His research and practice is exclusive to prostate disorders, general urology and men's health. 

Dr. Espinosa is an author of the naturopathic entry in 1000 Cures for 200 ailments, by Harper Collins; March 2007 and “Prostate cancer – Nutrients that may slow its progression,” Chapter 40 in Food and Nutrients in Disease Management - Maryland: Cadmus Publishing, 2009. He has authored paper on prostate cancer and BPH in the journal of European Urology and Primary Care: Clinics in Office Practice respectively. In addition, he has written on integrative approaches for urologic conditions in the Washington Post, Body and Soul magazine, NDNR, Prostate Cancer Research Institute newsletter and Bottom line health.


 



Isadora Guggenheim, ND completed her naturopathic studies in 2003 at University of Bridgeport, CT. She created a private practice, Second Nature Naturopathic Care, and specializes in environmental detox and reversing chronic diseases.  



Russell B. Marz, ND received his naturopathic doctorate from the "National College of Naturopathic Medicine" in Portland, Oregon in 1983. In 1985, he founded Omnivite Nutrition Inc., a company that manufactures unique nutritional formulas. 


Dr. Marz is a professor of nutrition at The National College of Naturopathic Medicine and is the author of a 600 page clinically oriented textbook in nutrition, Medical Nutrition from Marz. 2nd edition.


He has a master's degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. He is medical director and in private practice at “Tabor Hill Clinic” in Portland, OR since 1988.

 

Aside from his private practice and teaching, Dr. Marz is a triathlete and 2 time winner of the Mt. Man competition in Great Falls, MT. He is currently an active triathlete and competes regularly in races around the country.



Ginger Nash, ND graduated from The National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in 1998. She has a thriving practice in New Haven (since 1999) specializing in personalized medicine, including Epigentics and European homeopathic methods.

Dr. Nash is a Master of the Institute for Human Individuality and completed an internship with Dr. Peter D’Adamo.  Dr. Nash is a faculty member at the University of Bridgeport's College of Naturopathic Medicine and is a sought after speaker for health care practitioners throughout the U.S. and Canada.



Dr. Steve Nenninger is a 1995 graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM). One of the first of a new generation of naturopathic doctors to return to New York to practice, he has since maintained a full practice in both his home town of Port Jefferson as well as in Midtown Manhattan.

In addition to treating well known clients, he also runs one of the largest no-charge naturopathic clinics.

He was the founding donor of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP), and has been

one of the largest individual donors and fundraisers for the effort to gain licensure for naturopathic doctors in New York State.

Dr. Nenninger is an Arizona State Licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor, Connecticut State Licensed Naturopathic Physician, and NYS Certified Nutritionist.
