The New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians will host its 4th Annual Conference in Manhattan's historic East Side. Surrounded by upscale shopping and beautiful boutique accommodations, you won't want to miss this event! Balanced Health: Putting It All Together offers a comprehensive look at the origins of disease processes and how to address them using natural approaches to healing.
Practitioners who work with conditions such as chronic sinusitis, inflammatory bowel disease, fibromyalgia, eczema, obesity, autoimmunity, cancer, heart disease and chronic fatigue will have a unique opportunity to see these conditions in a new light and help their patients achieve balanced health after attending this conference.
We are thrilled to offer 6.0 credits of continuing education featuring expert advice from leaders in their respective fields. Beginning with a discussion of environmental influences on health and metabolism with Dr. Russell Marz (author of Nutrition from Marz), leading to an in-depth look at gluten related pathologies with Dr. Christine Doherty (leading expert in Celiac Disease), and considering the impact of quality manufacturing with Mr. Jeff Katke (CEO of Metagenics), attendees will gather important pieces of the puzzle that will help them to identify underlying causes of illness and to provide key instruments of change for patients.
Former NYANP Donor of the Year, Dr. Peter D'Adamo (best selling author of Eat Right for Your Type) will discuss nutritional interventions practitioners can employ to enhance the survivorship of their oncology patients. Dr. Nigel Plummer (known for his research on probiotics) will follow with intriguing concepts about prenatal disease programming and Dr. Denis Wilson (who identified and named Wilson's Syndrome) will show us how to identify thyroid imbalances and address them using natural approaches.
Interspersed between these conceptual presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to pick up treatment ideas from 20 minute mini-lectures from leading edge companies including PROTOCOL, American BioSciences, Natural Source and Gaia Herbs. Putting it all together, practitioners who attend this conference will walk away with a mind full of new ways to look at patient cases and offer individualized and powerful healing approaches.
